加拿大正规高校名单为帮助自费出国留学人员正确选择国外学习学校，加强对自费留学中介活动的监管，引导自费留学中介机构与国外正规学校开展合作，教育部公布了33个我国公民主要留学国家1万多所学校名单，基本涵盖了我公民主要留学目的地国正规高等学校。本名单截止日期为2010年6月1日。 一、 基本情况 加拿大联邦政府不设教育部，教育由各省负责。由于加拿大地域广阔，各省之间经济发展水平差别较大， 各省建立了适合本地发展、相对独立的教育体制。加拿大高等教育总体上保持了较高的水准，每年吸引众多国际学生前往求学和深造。 加拿大政府认可的高等教育机构主要分为大学和学院。绝大多数大学都是公立的。攻读本科一般需要3-4年时间，硕士研究生需要1-2年，博士研究生需要3年。各类学院侧重培养应用型专业技术人才，一般提供大专文凭和各种证书课程，学制2至3年，不颁发学位;部分学校也开设学制1至2年的课程，完成学业后可转入正规大学二、三年级继续攻读本科课程。
